Sustainability and energy efficiency are at the heart of Gili Lankanfushi, with emphasis on preserving the natural environment and protecting the marine ecosystem. Buildings are constructed using sustainably-sourced teak, bamboo and palm (much of which was harvested during the island rehabilitation process).
