About Seychelles

Seychelles is an archipelago of 41 granite and 74 coral islands, 1,000 miles from the east coast of Africa in the western Indian Ocean. The world’s oldest mid-oceanic granite islands with unique features and wildlife. The 90,000 Seychellois have dedicated half of their country to nature reserves, national parks and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Visiting Seychelles for the first time nothing prepares you for the startling turquoise waters, sandy beaches, coral reefs and lush tropical mountains that greet you as you touch down on the island of Mahe. Island hop and enjoy a wide range of experiences from primordial forests and exquisite beaches to secluded island getaways.
